Bio

Hops grew up in the great desert that is the Northwest (we're not really sure where the "great" part comes in, but . . .) and has no idea how to handle humidity above 20%; Peyt's a Southern belle to the core, having lived in Florida, South Carolina, Texas, and now Georgia and has live 18 years in places where it never got below 20% humidity (Utah was a complete aberration, one she hopes to avoid in the future).
Hops was a slave for his farmer father, grandmother (maternal), and grandfather (paternal). Peyt's a beach bum, and will probably never recover. Peyt is spoiled rotten, and Hops suffered great deprivations in his childhood.
Hops does engineering (which is superior to mere math, but involves a lot of it), while Peyt eshews all things mathmatical, showing an obvious preference for the written word (which means that she'll probably end up updating this thing more often than not).

By the way, they're married and somehow survive living together.
